We worked alongside Sarah Daniels on her artwork instillations for her exhibition. A new body of work inspired by compositional foundations explored in photography. Combined with her five year collection of security envelopes.
“Often ignored and on the whole instantly discarded. These envelopes contain a wide variety of patterns and styles. From skewed text and numbers, geometrics, scrambled letters, to complex repeated motifs. In an era of paper communication, these patterns were designed to protect the enclosed personal data from being hacked. Either from the use of powerful lights sources or solvent applications.”
“With security in mind from an age where data control is still visible. There is an element of nostalgia combined with the issue of protecting data. Analogue and digital images were layered, bonded, etched, laser fret cut and printed directly onto panels of acrylic. Hand-made pendants and large format digital prints accompanied the Artwork Installations.”
In addition to fabrication and manufacturing services, Ino-Plaz also have an in-house design team. This allows for full control over the design and makes the process easier as both the designer and fabricator are in one place. The dedicated Graphic Design and CAD specialists use software to create designs and 3D renders of products and ideas. Using this Computer Aided Design improves the quality of the design and creates a database for manufacturing. As well as showing a more realistic 3D representation of the final design.
